What Are Exceptions?
Exceptions are issues that occurred during automated processes and require your review or action to resolve.
Document Processing
OCR extraction failures, low confidence, or classification errors
Sync Failures
QuickBooks or Xero synchronization issues
Validation Errors
Data integrity issues like math mismatches
Accessing the Exceptions Dashboard
- Click Exceptions in the left sidebar
- View exceptions grouped by type
- Filter by status (Open, In Progress, Resolved)
- Click any exception to see details and take action
Exception Status
Open - Needs attention
In Progress - Being worked on
Resolved - Issue fixed
Check Daily
Review the Exceptions dashboard at least once daily to catch and resolve issues before they impact your workflow.
