Custom rules let you build your own automations with specific triggers, conditions, and actions. Create workflows tailored to your exact business processes.
Creating a Custom Rule
- Go to Workflows and click + New Rule
- Give your rule a descriptive name
- Select the Trigger (When this happens...)
- Add Conditions (optional filters)
- Choose the Action (Do this...)
- Click Save to activate
Available Triggers

Available Actions
•Send Email - Send to team member, GC contact, or custom address
•In-App Notification - Show notification in RIVET
•Create Task - Add item to task list

Example Rules
Late Payment Escalation
When: Payment is 30 days overdue
Condition: Amount > $10,000
Action: Email to Owner + CC Accounting
Large Pay App Alert
When: Pay app submitted
Condition: Amount > $50,000
Action: Notify Owner and Manager
